“The greatest joy in my queer life is building community,” said Agaman, who is the LGBTQ+ services coordinator at The Epicenter, a drop-in resource center for youth in Monterey County, California. “Every event that mobilizes a sense of belonging for the most disenfranchised and marginalized people in our community makes every effort worth it.”

Agamao identifies as queer nonbinary, asexual and aromantic.
